The millenium seating node, located in the cultural centre parklands, incorporates several lights, all derived from a single source and carried via fibre optic cables to the lighting outlets. The concrete includes a star field pattern of lighting all terminated by custom bezels. The dome also has an embedded star field pattern. The lights are powered by three 32 watt solar panels mounted on totems around the seat. All batteries and control gears are housed in the centre of the seat.
